The up and coming singing group, Beloved, recently commissioned 2 new works of art. They chose "Lilies" in bold and contemporary colors to represent each of the singer's personalities.

"The Three Chairs" is a humorous nod to the three girls. Both art pieces will be featured in a TV pilot that Beloved is currently filming.

I am pleased to announce that Artistry by Nilha will be adding Faux Finishing to our list of services. The incredibly talented Bridgit Taylor of BTaylored Designs will be lending her skills to serve our clients better. Bridgit combines artistry, skill, and imagination to create a multitude of gorgeous finishes including Venetian Plaster, Wax, Reptile,Woodgrain, and Marbling.

When appropriate to the design, we will combine our talents. For example, Bridgit might paint a textured background and I would add graphics to complete the look for a fresco. Or, she might "magically age" one of my newly painted murals. The ideas are endless!

What an awesome room for a young baseball fan! I enhanced the existing "Dugout Reading Nook" with trompe l'oeil jerseys and baseball equipment. Then, I added the open locker with more equipment. The best surprise in this room was that it was for a girl! When she was 3, I painted her room in an adorable "Dress-Up" theme. Five years later, the "girlie-girl" had completely changed her uniform!

Trompe L'oeil Bedroom Trellis

Gazebo Dressing Area

This lovely space began as sort of a forgotten corner in a guest bedroom. With the addition of the trompe l'oeil gazebo, it became the focal point of the room and a hidden gem in an already gorgeous home in Atlanta, GA.

Ohio State Game Day

This wall is part of a 40' x 20' full room mural in Cincinnati, OH. The huge bonus room came alive with cheerleaders, the Ohio State Mascot, and vendors selling Buckeye goodies. At one end of the room, I painted the Ohio State stadium filled with fans. Try painting all those people! What a challenge!

"Best Friends"

This whimsical 3-drawer chest was inspired by the outdoors. A colorful hydrangea bush and tree stump act as the perfect meeting place for these two furry friends. It is currently available and would be perfect in a nursery or little girl's bedroom. Call for more info.
